We desire to cultivate an environment of modern Thelemic thought, to nurture a community of learning, personal growth, & fellowship, as well as to provide a dedicated, physical presence within the Boise, Caldwell, Meridian, Mountain Home, and Nampa area. 

 "Every man and every woman is a Star." (Liber AL vel Legis I:3) 

If you're not familiar with the word Thelema, it actually translates as the WILL. The hope is to introduce you to and have discussions regarding the Thelemic Current which is a living spiritual Aeonic pantheon which began when Aleister Crowley transcribed the Book of the Law, and manifest the words "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.", a philosophy which emphasizes the ritual practice of Magick and the pursuit of YOUR PERSONAL Holy Guardian Angel. 

Khephra Rising is a working group that studies and practices several times a month. We offer Ordo Templi Orientis Initiations and private Gnostic Masses for members of the Order.

We affirm that each person be the sole authority in their own life. We strive to facilitate the development of the individual, so that he/she might come to attain the ultimate personal Freedom; Liberty within the realization of ultimate individual responsibility. 

"But ye, o my people, rise up & awake!" (Liber AL vel Legis II:34) 

It is in this awakened self-awareness, that we begin to grow through self-respect, self-expression, self-discipline, self-understanding, self-knowledge, and self-transformation. 

Through the Light of this transformation, we may attain Freedom from the bindings of fear, doubt, superstition, division, and the Sin of Restriction!(I:41-44)

We further pledge ourselves to this Spiritual Evolution, and are each United in our pursuits of the knowledge, attainment, and accomplishment of our "True Will." 

Our goal is to provide the information, techniques, and tools, whereby each person may find inspiration & empowerment within these principles, tenets, and traditions set forth in Crowley's Liber AL vel Legis (The Book of the Law). 

"Also the mantras and spells; the obeah and the wanga; the work of the wand and the work of the sword; these he shall learn and teach." (Liber AL vel Legis I:37) 

We seek to provide a basis of education and support. Our group offers classes in a diverse range of esoteric studies & practices including; Magick, Qabalah, Tarot, Yoga, Hermetic Sciences, Astrology, and many other elements within the Mystery Traditions. 

"Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do thy will. Do that, and no other shall say nay." (Liber AL vel Legis I:41-42)
